All-Music Guide - Biographies, discographies, and essays about music, searchable by artist, song title, album title, and style of music. This is the on-line version of the music reference book.

CD Universe - One more place to look for CD's still in print. Provides some lists of top albums by genre and current and upcoming releases.

Clasica - Directory of links devoted to classical music, especially modern symphonies, conductors, and performers.

Classical Net - Features more than 7000 files including more than 5200 CD, SACD, DVD and book reviews and over 5500 links to other classical music web sites, as well as large index of composers.

Encyclopedia of Music in Canada - An electronic version of this reference work in English and French. Allows a word search or you can browse a list of subjects. Entries are signed and include limited discographies for recorded artists. Also provides links to web sites for additional information.

Ethnomusicology - A large number of links to information sources pertaining to ethnic, folk and world music. Compiled by the University of Washington Music Library.

Musicnotes - This commercial site can be used to find books that contain sheet music for a particular song, composer or artist. Keyword searches are also possible.

The Symphony: an Interactive Guide - Includes a guide to the instruments in the orchestra, a timeline, an alphabetical list of composer biographies, a quick course in symphonic form and many other features exploring the world of the symphony.

Wisconsin Music (FolkLib Index) - Discographies and links to biographies, and official sites for hundreds of musicians from Wisconsin.

Lyrics World - Features an alphabetical index by artist and by song title, as well as groupings of number one songs and top 40 hits by year from 1930 to 1999.

The Lyrics Library - Provides a huge collection of links to lyric web sites. Includes lists by artist as well as a variety of subject lists such as Christmas, national anthems, jingles, musicals and TV themes.

How to Find Lyrics - A very comprehensive compilation of links to lyric sources on the Internet, including lists by band and by artist. Also provides some pointers to help you conduct your search.

KIDiddle's - Mojo's Musical Mouseum - Contains lyrics to nearly 2,000 children's songs arranged by title and by subject. Also allows a search by keyword within the lyrics. Some include an audio file of the song.
